Coldest Night

The Coldest Night of the Year returns on Saturday, February 28, 2026—a national walk uniting Canadians to support those facing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.

Join us as we raise funds for local charities providing essential care and hope to our neighbours in need. Together, we can bring warmth and compassion to our community.

The walk in Pembroke benefits the Grind in Pembroke.  More information can be found on the website when you access the link.

Once again, lead by our local Equity Committee, OSSTF D28 has put in a team.
Please use this link below to join the team or to donate: https://walk.w-ith.us/D28.

Our team captain is Louise Finucane.
Please reach out to her if you require further details at  Louise.Finucane@d28.osstf.ca.

There is also the option to walk 'offsite' if you would like to participate but are unable to make it to the Pembroke site.

If you chose this option, when registering, instead of checking off Main Event, you will chose the Offsite option

Stacey Reid from ADHS and Denise Murch-D’Amours from Walter Zadow plan to walk in Arnprior.
Please reach out to Denise.Murch-D'Amours@d28.osstf.ca, if you would like to join them!

Thanks for any support you can provide for this worthwhile cause!
